Divine Science University held a meeting on April 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Following the invitation song Teach Your Children Well by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young we took a moment to breathe deeply together, to review our mission statement and opening intention.

At 6:07 PM we reviewed the various updates and changes recently made by colleges. We reviewed draft 1 of the online newsletter.  Work continues to get it published and distributed very early in May.

At 6:17 PM we continued to discuss shared David's  Dear Cosmos presentation addressing the question “Is there A God.” Input to the various questions included:

What was your earliest ideation of God and how has it changed through your life?

• Grandfatherly figure, directing, controlling, confusing.  Holy Spirit that lives in us AS us that gives us our consciousness and essence.  

• THE boss of the heavens that you do NOT question or challenge and that is the equivalent of the school principal that you want to avoid at all costs.  Over time this morphed into the divine being living somewhere out past Pluto that "waved a magic wand" directing all of the actions of the universe.  This morphed into a loving, guiding and heavenly spirit that desires to help, aid and assist and who desire the companionship of "us".  Now as I apply Divine Science I am learning that "God" is literally all of the physical and spiritual quanta by whatever means you measure it in which we are ALL a part -- "in whom we live and move and have our being."  Our atoms are God's atoms and we are a "subsystem" of God. 

• Not an active part of family life, but went to church and went through the religious ritual.  Discovered  books that discussed spirituality over religiosity as life went on.  This led into a more spiritual based conception of Divinity.  The I AM presence where we are individually connected to the God source, but we also have individual development and the ability to connect with others.  The spiritual wave form has masculine and feminine wave forms...one extreme is powerful and masculine the other is restful and supportive....one peak is masculine and the other is feminine. 

• Parents were Catholic and religious based. Catechism school as a youngster.  Were given catechism books and Bibles which were then thrown as weapons by the children on the bus.  An experience of being "fully immersed in Love"  convinced that God is an entity that DOES have this kind of Love available.

At 7:00 PM we reviewed reminders:  GFLAA will meet April 15th and DSU on May 6th, and DSU May 13th.

We closed and signed off afterwards.
