Following the invitation song Teach Your Children by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young we took a moment to breathe deeply together in preparation to read our mission statement and opening intention.
At 5:13 PM we began our main program with each of 4 presenters answering the question How to Maintain Balance in a Chaotic World.
John opened the discussion reviewing a definition of chaos noted that it is confusion, mixed up. He noted that giving a sense of order by doing one small thing to to combat disorder.
Jackie shared next noting that you are living in a time of opportunity and a time of big shifts. She encouraged that we should know and trust ourselves; be authentic, trusting and committing to life and discover more things like the Four Agreements.
Next, Chris reviewed information that he posted as an article on the SOW: how to Maintain Balance in Chaotic World. The key takeaway being that awareness is a key aspect recognizing chaotic inputs into your world so that you may direct the appropriate response to maintain balance.
Finally, David presented information about the available ONE-TLC books and studies.
The presentation concluded at about 6:00 PM and we shared comments and reminders, and determined that our next meeting would be a presentation on Ancient Wisdom and a 10 minute presentation on another subject.
We then read our closing intention and closed with an invitation to the first 15 minutes of a planning session for GFLAA. The DSU meeting concluded with the song Everything is Beautiful by Ray Stevens.
