DSU Meeting, October 14, 2026

Divine Science University held a meeting October 14, 2026, gathering at 4:50 and opening at 5:05 PM with the invitation song Teach Your Children by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.  Opening activities then followed with reviewing our mission statement, opening intention and a relaxing breathing exercise.

At 5:08 PM we reviewed the activities of DSU Colleges.  SOW reported that publication of The Gathas continues.  Carmine Connection and ONE-TLC reports that grounds improvements continue and the ORSH is nearing completion.  CSI Rewind continues the summer off from new publications.  Other colleges reported their activities as well.  

At 5:10 PM John of the College of Cartoons and Stories reviewed Evil Spirits in Bible Stories; What Did the Ancient People Really Believe.  He reviewed stories such as Abimolech, Schem and the “evil spirit” that came upon King Saul, King Ahab and touched on the concept of the Host of Heaven and lying spirits.  His take away was evil spiritual beings are as real as nightmares.

At 5:31 PM Chris of the SOW College made a presentation on Benevolence and Malevolence, Gatha 3 with the take away that You reap what you sow: ‘Beneficence begets good’, ‘harmfulness begets harm’.  Choose wisely.

At 6.02 PM we reviewed our closing intention and determined that David would bring a 15 minutes presentation next week and Jackie a 30 minute presentation and discussion.  We then closed with the song Choices by George Jones.  The group dismissed for the GFLAA meeting afterwards.
