We have been very busy this quarter and summer has been in full swing for all. We have survived (most) of the Summer and soon (but not soon enough!) Fall activities will be upon us. Our Summer Solstice event is scheduled for September19th which is just before the solstice on the 21st. Check our DSU site for specific schedules and times. Do plan on coming for a visit and enjoy a FUN, enlightening, and quiet country day.
This Quarter’s Newsletter is FULL of new things to learn about and many things to consider. From the role of water in our health, to maintaining balance in a chaotic world, to cosmic energetic... there is much new to learn. And our Ancient Wisdom study series has been looking at one, if not the oldest written religion in the world, Zoroastrianism.
While we have not been investigating the religion of Zoroaster (Zarathushtra), we have been sharing his writings, The Gathas. While its original language may be a “dead language” scholars have been able to bring us a suitable translation/interpretation to share. Read about Good Mind, the history surrounding Zoroastrianism, and living by “good thoughts, good words, and good deeds” go make your life more promising. You will learn something if you dig.
There are other articles as well. We invite you to participate in our DSU weekly meetings on Wednesday at 5 PM. Here is the link: DSU Weekly Meetings
